A wonderful warm woman greeted and served us. This place has a an old school charm where the owners know everybody and greet new customers like they're long lost family. The food was served super fast and looked good and tasted great.We will be back the next time we're in Kingston.

Very nice owners! Good service fit in a group of 10 on short notice. Fast food service. Toast is thin and Homefries were not good, almost mashed potatoes and tasted kind of like curry! out of 10 all plates went back with homefries.Very cold in our sitting area.

Went for breakfeast and was not disappointed. Big portions, good food and staff goes above and beyond.

They even make a good old fashioned milkshake; scooping ice cream, adding milk, flavouring and hooking it up to the Beach Mixer. Just like yesterday's diners. I definitely recommend having breakfast or lunch here. Very clean!!! And Friendly staff with owners present.

Conveniently placed location in downtown Kingston. Very freidnly staff with a welcoming attitude. The seating area is an old style diner with a long bar area. The place itself wasn't very clean(tables, chairs and floor) and cutlery seemed dirty. The breakfast was tasty, however was on the oily side and a bit under seasoned. The meal came out of the kitchen very quickly, however staff seemed to be very busy and as a result, it reflected on the lengthy service, even to ask for a top up on coffee.

Old school mom & pop diner. :) Early morning breakfast on Saturday morning while on vacation. Kudos to the cooks who remember all the orders being called out through the serving window.My wife grew up in the area and remembers having fries as a treat back in the 60's. Yes we are old but not as old as the diner. Holy 1921!

Very nice people, great food. And comes quickly too (we were in a rush but didn't say so). Tastes great and good portions too. Will return for milkshakes!

I have been coming here since i was a kid. I remember being given free peppermint patties at the cash by the owner when i was young. Service is fast and the staff is friendly. Open early for people who work early. Very reasonable prices. Only problem is the soggy hashbrowns. Otherwise would be a 5 star.

We were lucky enough to get a table here as it fills pretty quickly. The breakfast was great but there was one thing we just couldn't get over. They do NOT serve REAL maple syrup with breakfast! We are in CANADA! We asked about it and there was an large upcharge for it. My sister and I wanted real and we got charged each even though they brought a little pitcher for the table. I am still surprised about this!

OMG what a place, food was great staff friendly and coffee was hot.Very busy as the Brier was in town, everyone was rushed off feet, but still had a smile and warm greeting for you, I can see why it has been around for so many years.Would go back for sure

Good diner fare that's reasonably priced, with comfortable seating and a spacious yet unpretentious atmosphere. Service is quick and friendly. A good place to go for lunch or an early dinner since they aren't open late.

Host was a nice lively guy. Food unimpressive. The large sign out front would have you believe it is a steak and seafood joint when really it's a run down diner. You know they have the money to fix it too as it seemed they had stacks and stacks of cash in the register. The register that is two steps from the entrance....you gonna be robbed or put your employees at risk. May want to run a float or change the horrible place a full cash register would be

Very busy and noisy restaurant and that's the beauty of this place. My parents became engaged over a meal here so the memories are strong here. The meal itself was good and filling. The washroom was up stairs. This is a downtown Kingston institution.

Here's your chance to step back in time and experience how a restaurant/diner use to be. There's not many eating establishments like Morrison's left. Prices that you will not regret, food that is off the chat and attentive service. You cannot go wrong eating here.

Great greasy spoon. Home fries could have done with a bit more salt but everything else was fantastic

Great little greasy spoon diner which is right accross the street from Kingston's awesome capitol. The owners of this place are Greek and the menu reflects some of that for sure I personally had the Greek omelette. I don't think I've ever had more Feta cheese in one sitting, it was great.

Very old school building in Downtown Kingston. The service was energetic and very friendly. The menu is quite large and offers something for everyone. Both our drinks and Food arrived VERY quickly!The milkshake was nice and sweet. The food was very homey and filling. Froes were very old fashioned and not killed with salt. The burger seemed very dense and likely homemade as well and the sausages also seemed very fresh. Overall would definitely recommend.

If your looking for a casual breakfast joint then I'd say Morrisons is a better place then any. A very clean restaurant with great staff. The food was your typical breakfast selection, nothing that really stood out but the atmosphere was great and the downtown look is always a nice touch! I will for sure be eating here again!

A lovely breakfast place. Staff is very warm and friendly service is Fast and the food is good. It's an old building so it's not accessible you have to take the stairs to the bathroom.

Came here for lunch with a group of 3 one weekday and didn't have any trouble getting seats. Service was quick and no frills as to be expected at a Chinese restaurant.We ordered the shiu mai, har gow, turnip cakes, pan fried dumplings, bbq pork buns, and bbq pork rice rolls.

Come here every summer since the kids were little.

We wanted to try breakfast at a historic Kingston restaurant. Service was great and incredibly fast. The potatoes and eggs were perfect. The steak had zero seasoning and the sausages weren't very good. Overall we were unimpressed, we will try somewhere else next time we visit Kingston.

Very disappointed. Couldn't get a refill on a simple cup of coffee and pop for my wife.The club sandwiches were sad. We had no mayonnaise and when we asked for some on the side it never arrived. When we got our bill it was 3x higher. We realized it was for a different table. Took another 20 minutes to get the correct one.

This is a fantastic wee place (recommend by a local). Lots of diner-classics - the cheeseburger is perfect - and prices are beyond fair for the generous portions. After chatting with the owners, we found out that they source ingredients locally, and they really seem like part of the community.Definitely worth a visit, and we'll definitely be back!

Excellent home made food. Have been for both breakfast and lunch, not disappointed at all. Staff is super friendly.
